Allow me to let you in on a little secret about the friend zone. It’s bullshit. It’s not real. It’s just a fictional place ‘nice guys’ like to think exist so they can feel better about their single selves.
We all have that annoying friend on Facebook (who let’s be real here, isn’t really your friend anyway) that posts a status saying, “Nice guys finish last.” But come on, we both know you aren’t even nice. And, as for this ‘friend zone’ you claim you’re in, it is probably your fault you’re in it anyway.
Even urban dictionary agrees with me,
Nice guys finish last – “A saying that ‘nice guys’ use to explain why they don’t have a girlfriend. Being too stupid to realise the real reason is because they feel sorry for themselves and blame others for their lack of success in life, not because they are ‘too nice.’
The amount of times I have been told this line – well let’s just say I’d be pretty rich by now.
For those boys out there still pondering, “why nice guys finish last”, well let me share with you another secret – they don’t.
Just because you happen to have a shred of humility in you and are kind to a girl, does not mean in return they have to have sex with you. AND it does not mean you have to go have a sook when they say no to you either. Instead, when the next time a girl doesn’t go down on her knees for you and you blame it on being a ‘friend’, MAYBE just MAYBE take into consideration other possibilities to why she doesn’t want to perform fellatio.
MAYBE she doesn’t like you.
MAYBE she’s a lesbian.
MAYBE she’s too focused on her studies (ha, yeah right)
MAYBE she’s into your friend instead.
MAYBE you have the sex appeal of a lamp.
MAYBE you’re actually a complete tosser with a pole up your ass.
Or MAYBE just MAYBE she doesn’t want to because
YOU AREN’T NICE.
So next time when things don't quite go your way, before claiming yourself 'friend-zoned' perhaps take into consideration it is something you're doing wrong. Are you executing it the wrong way? Are you coming off too strong? Or, maybe the girl you're going for is just a total bitch.
